Tired of going from one diet to another only to be disappointed when you don't end up losing any weight. Were with ya! Most diets are geared to have you lose the majority of your weight within the first couple of weeks. Which they don't tell you that the weight your losing is only water.  You end up  losing this water weight and nothing else...another failed diet. From the beginning of time there has always been a diet out there that promises to help you lose the weight. Today we are going to help you to forget those fad diets and step into the light.

Exercise sometimes leads to overeating.  Fight the urge! Most of us women have a habit of going to the gym and then rewarding themselves later with a treat.  We've worked hard today, we deserve something right?, but nothing that is going to pack the pounds back on that you just lost through exercise. Chocolate or potato chips, a burger or French fries...oh so tempting.  Working out at the gym is an excellent way to lose weight, but it does have to be paired with healthy eating. If you are eating fatty foods while going to the gym, you may be maintaining your weight, but your never going to lose any.  Unfortunately eating healthy and exercising go hand in hand when losing weight.

Watch your portions.

Everything these days seems to be so large.  You go to a restaurant and are served three times as much as you an actually eat. If you feel that there is too much on your plate, don't eat it all. Some women feel pressured to eat all of what is served to them. This is only hurting yourself.  At home is another story. Sometimes we don't realize how much we actually serve ourselves.  Take a week to record how much you serve yourself at each meal, and be honest. If it looks like a lot to you try to cut it in half. You can even measure how much your giving yourself with a large spoon or cup. Recording this can help you see the difference and maybe feel the difference in your stomach. You'd be surprised how much we over feed ourselves on a daily basis.  You really don;t have to eat until your stuffed!

Have A Good Mindset

 

It has originally been thought that if you have really high expectations while dieting, the fall out once you don't reach those goals causes the average woman to gain more weight than she lost.  Studies have now found that this is not true.  The average women who has high expectations pushes herself harder than someone who didn't set any goals. So set yourself some good goals. Aim for the sky.

Stay Clear of Diet Foods

It can be tempting, and they are advertised to sell, but the diet foods that are on the market aren't that good for you. Some of the chemicals that are put into the foods to make them less fatty or have less salt actually curb your appetite and make you want some more which can lead you to over eat and never gain any weight. Stick to fresh foods from the supermarket, their healthier for you.
